Ivan Edwards is a gifted vocalist, musician, and songwriter with a deep passion for using music to inspire, entertain, and bring joy to others.  A native of Lumberton, North Carolina, he discovered his love for music at an early age through a faith-filled upbringing, where singing and participating in music laid the foundation for a lifelong passion.

His passion for excellence in music led him to pursue formal training, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Classically trained in vocal performance, he combines technical excellence with genuine artistry, bringing warmth, precision, and emotional depth to every performance.

Residing for many years in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina region, Ivan has honed his talents across a wide range of musical outlets. His experience includes opera, Off-Broadway productions, a cappella performances, large-scale Christmas presentations, and numerous special musical events. He has also had the opportunity to perform for notable venues and organizations, including the Biltmore Estate, the Carolina Panthers, and the Charlotte Hornets. In 2026, he was selected to perform at the Divas and Dudes Showcase during CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee. This diverse musical background has uniquely equipped him to excel in a wide variety of musical styles, creating lasting connections with audiences.

After years of performing in various musical groups and settings, Ivan embarked on a new chapter in 2026, focusing exclusively on his career as a solo artist. Drawing on a lifetime of musical experience, he continues to share his love of music through inspiring performances and original songs. His writing and arranging skills are equally noteworthy. His first gospel single, “It’s All In The Past,” made an impressive entrance at #45 on the Nashville Spin Top 100 Chart, marking a significant milestone in his solo career and establishing him as a versatile and compelling recording artist.
